PRESS CONFERENCE FOR THE PARTNERSHIP OF SONY ERICSSON WITH TELEUNICOM (CYPRUS) LTD
Limassol – Monday January 16th of 2012, in a well-known hotel in Limassol in a warm and friendly atmosphere among people from politics, media and telecommunications Sony Ericsson officially announced cooperation with the firm TeleUnicom as the sole representative in Cyprus.
The opening of the press conference was made by Mr. V. Papadopoulos CEO of TeleUnicom who said: “I am very glad about the beginning of our operation in Cyprus market, which we consider important and strongly progressive. In the event were attended officials such as the Cypriot Minister of Finance Mr. Kikis Kazamias, who said: “I am among friends.” Then he congratulated the company for its initiative, which has expanded its operations through TeleUnicom (CYPRUS) LTD, on the Cyprus market, in order to contribute to the development of the Cypriot economy by promoting the same products and employing staff from Cyprus for the development of its work.

The press conference was closed by Sony Ericsson’s Head of Sales in Greece, Israel, Turkey and Cyprus Mr. A. Garatziotis, which he said: “The outstanding results and the excellent cooperation over the past 3 years in Greece with TeleUnicom gives certainty that the extension of our cooperation in Cyprus will strengthen even more the dynamics of Xperia Smartphones in the Cyprus market.”
